n 1992 just out of high school Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology atAlaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska. Bossard began her commercial seafood career in 1999 when she was hired on board the F/V Sunset. The 65' schooner converted to an ice-fish tender was operated by Murat Aritan. The fisherman has been in commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard is currently engaged to Aritan and the couple has united to make their claim to the market. They support conservative, profitable management of sustainable seafood resources. Otolith was founded at the time of Philadelphia by Bella Bossard and is currently the mother of two children with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard. Her husband has a long history in the fish industry that often means they stay separated from each other for five months or more. It is during this time that they're focused on their environmental and financial goals. Bossard together with Isabella as well as Andre (ages 12, 10 respectively) are back each year, beginning in July of 2016 in Southeast Alaska for the summer harvest from wild salmon.
